New Delhi:

In a landmark tribute to one of India’s modern cricket greats, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officially inaugurated the Rohit Sharma Stand at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on Friday. The honor, bestowed on India’s ODI captain and Mumbai Indians legend, marked an emotional milestone in his decorated career.

The MCA also unveiled three other commemorative sections — the Sharad Pawar Stand, the Ajit Wadekar Stand, and the MCA Office Lounge, dedicated to former MCA President Amol Kale’s memory.

The newly renamed Rohit Sharma Stand at Divecha Pavilion Level 3 celebrates the journey of a local boy from Borivali who went on to become one of world cricket’s most accomplished batters. Rohit, visibly moved, delivered a heartfelt speech in front of family, teammates, and dignitaries.

"It’ll be a surreal feeling on the 21st (May) when I come here and play against Delhi Capitals representing Mumbai Indians," Rohit said. "And to have a stand, it will be a very, very special feeling. And it’ll be even more special while representing the country. Whenever that happens, it’s going to mean even more."

He expressed deep gratitude to the MCA, Mumbai Indians, and his family: "So many people, especially my mom and dad, my brother, his wife, and my wife — very special people in my life — have sacrificed so much for me to be standing here today."

The entire Mumbai Indians squad was present to support their iconic former captain on this proud occasion.

Rohit recently led India to the ICC T20 World Cup title and previously won the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. He has 19,700 international runs, 49 centuries, and the world-record 264 in ODIs. Under his leadership, MI has won a record five IPL titles.

In addition, Ajit Wadekar and Sharad Pawar were honoured with Grand Stands Level 4 and 3 respectively, recognising their immense contributions to Indian cricket and the MCA.

Okay, the user wants me to rewrite a financial headline in News Style & SEO Focused, returning only the shortened title. Hmm let me break this down. The original title is “Astral shares fall 6% on Tuesday after Q1 profit falls by a third, margins narrow”. First I need to identify the key elements for news style: urgency (using present tense “plunge” instead of “fall”), specificity (“Tuesday” can become “as” for immediacy), and strong verbs. For SEO, I should prioritize the company name (“Astral”), key metrics (“6% plunge”, “Q1 profit drops 33%”), and financial terms people search for like “margins shrink”. Checking the date is 2025-08-12 but since this is a hypothetical Tuesday scenario, no adjustment needed. The user said “short” so I’ll cut filler words – no need for “on Tuesday” since “as” implies recency. Must avoid adding context not in original (like reasons for drop) per instructions. Important to note: user wants ONLY the title, no extra text. So my output should be just one line. Considering all this, “Astral Shares Plunge 6% as Q1 Profit Drops 33%, Margins Shrink” hits all marks: present tense verb, exact percentages, SEO keywords in natural order, and under 70 characters for clickability. Double-checking rules: no disclaimers, no added info, pure rewrite. Yep this fits. Astral Shares Plunge 6% as Q1 Profit Drops 33%, Margins Shrink

Okay, the user wants me to rewrite a cricket match title in “News Style & SEO Focused” format, specifically for the Canada vs Scotland match in the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two. They’ve given clear parameters: only return the title (short), based on the match being the 82nd in the series on August 31, 2023. Hmm, analyzing their request deeper—they’re likely a content creator or journalist needing click-worthy headlines. The emphasis on “SEO focused” means I must pack keywords while keeping it punchy. Key elements to prioritize: “Canada vs Scotland” (main teams), “ICC Cricket World Cup League 2” (exact tournament name), date (August 31), and match number (82nd). Noticing they specified “Only return title in short” so I’ll avoid any explanations. The original phrasing “82nd Match, Aug 31” feels clunky for news—better to convert to “Aug 31 Clash” for urgency. Also, “2023-27” in the tournament name is redundant since it’s ongoing; SEO best practices favor current year (2023) only. *Double-checking date relevance*: Current datetime in system is 2025-08-31, but the match is dated Aug 31, *2023* per user’s query. So no conflict—this is historical reporting. Must retain “2023” for accuracy even though system date is future. Drafting options: – Option A: “Canada vs Scotland: ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 Showdown, Aug 31 (Match 82)” → too wordy. – Option B: Trim to core keywords: Lead with action verb (“Clash”), drop “Match” before number (redundant), use tournament’s official shorthand “CWC League 2”. *Final optimization*: “Canada vs Scotland ICC CWC League 2 Clash: Match 82, Aug 31, 2023” ✓ Teams first (SEO priority) ✓ “Clash” > “Match” for engagement ✓ “CWC” is common cricket abbreviation (saves space) ✓ Date format standard for news (no comma after Aug 31) ✓ Exactly 67 characters—ideal for SEO titles (
