PARIS: Scientists are on the hunt for a gigantic and elusive planet lurking at the far edge of our solar system. Some astronomers believe that strange, icy rocks beyond Neptune are signs of a bigger planet called “Planet Nine”. But a new discovery suggests there might be an even stranger planet called “2017 OF201” in the solar system. This new dwarf planet is about three times the size of Pluto, which is sitting in the Kuiper Belt. It is currently three times farther from Earth than Neptune, creating an incredibly elongated orbit that swings out to 1,600 times the distance between Earth and the Sun.
