Erdogan, who arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday, emphasized the suffering of Kashmiris due to escalating India-Pakistan tensions. He called for dialogue to address the Kashmir issue.

During his one-on-one meeting with Sharif, Erdogan discussed the situation in Kashmir. He stressed the importance of dialogue to resolve the thorny issue.

Erdogan thanked Pakistan for supporting Turkey’s elected government during a failed coup bid earlier this year. He also criticized the Fethullah Terror Organization (FETO) for allegedly supporting the coup and warned against it globally.

Erdogan welcomed Pakistan’s decision to expel dozens of Turkish teachers and staff from schools controlled by FETO.
