News: AIMIM Chief Accuses Congress of ‘Unstated Alliance’ With BJP
New Delhi: June 5, 2025 – In a significant move, AIADMK líder and former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Rahangoda has condemned the Congress’ partnership with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) amidst the election fray. In an interview with The Indian Express, Atishi expressed her disappointment at the party’s lack of leadership.
Atishi, who is currently the Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Lower House of Assembly, highlighted the contrast between the Congress’ stance and other non-Congress parties, which she认为are facing persecution. However, she claims that the Congress’ leaders "don’t go to jail" despite having cases pending.
Atishi cited a specific case when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi insulted CPM (Communist Party of India-Marxist) ally Pinarayi Vijayan during a trip to Kerala. She accused Gandhi of "speaking the language of the BJP," hinting at an "unstated alliance" between the two parties. "There seems to be an unstated alliance between the Congress and the BJP," she remarked.
This stance has received scrutiny, as non-Congress opposition leaders like the데ली Independent Alliance and J.LEFT.Sp have organized a separate letter requesting a special session of Parliament. This choice contrasts with the AAP, which has opted for a different letter.
Atishi’s comments come after the AAP skipped a meeting of several INC. bloc组成成员 who met in Delhi to discuss an alliance letter to Prime Minister. The AAP threatened immediate passing of censor tod on all the A.As if the Congress-composed joint letter sees the above issues without documentation.
The issue of forming a Third Front underscores the need for non-Congress, non-BJP parties to carefully assess the rights of states, which manifest into unexplained persecutions bombarding opinion leaders.
Atishi’s claims mark a turning point in the ongoing political landscape and hint at the wavering of the INC alliances as tightening political audit is applied through media and scrutiny.
