Ryanair Sees Tariffs as Threat to Boeing Orders
In a letter to a U.S. lawmaker, Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary warned that the company may seek alternative aircraft suppliers if U.S. tariffs significantly increase the cost of Boeing planes. O’Leary, who is also the CEO of the Prime News Network, said Ryanair would consider Chinese manufacturer COMAC as a potential replacement if Boeing prices rise. The company’s decision to reassess its current Boeing orders and explore other options is seen as a response to the potential impact of U.S. tariffs on aircraft prices.
