New Delhi: Bringing Relief to Common Man, Oil Marketing Companies Lower LPG Cylinder Prices

Oil marketing companies have revised the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders, effective from May 1, 2025. The rate of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 14.5, effective today. In Delhi, the retail sale price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder is now Rs 1747.50.

Here’s the Price Breakdown for 19 kg Commercial LPG Cylinder in Metros:

Metro Price
Delhi Rs 1747.50
Mumbai Rs 1699
Kolkata Rs 1851.50
Chennai Rs 1906

However, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders will remain unchanged. Last month, the price of domestic Cooking gas or LPG gas was raised by Rs 50 per cylinder by distribution companies. The increased price of domestic Cooking gas is effective from April 8, 2025. The gas price has been increased for both Ujwalla and general category customers.

Domestic cooking gas prices vary from state to state due to local taxes, and the last revision in domestic cylinder prices occurred on March 1, 2024. Monthly revisions for both commercial and domestic LPG cylinders typically occur on the first day of each month.
