Recruitment Details:

Vacancies & Qualifications: Each school will announce specific numbers of vacancies post-OST. Candidates must apply to individual schools separately after the result.
Basic Qualification Criteria:
- PGT: Post Graduation (50%) with B.Ed. (50% or preferred).
- TGT: Graduation (50%) with B.Ed. (50%).
- PRT: Graduation (50%) with either B.El.Ed or D.El.Ed (2 years) or B.Ed with a bridge course (2025). Essential for appointment.
Note: Candidates with PG degrees but less than 50% in Graduation are eligible for TGT/PRT if they have 50% in PG.

Age Limit:

As of April 1, 2025:
- Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years (No teaching experience required)
- Experienced Candidates: Below 55 years (5 years of teaching experience in last 10 years)
- Army Spouses: Depending on category and experience

Selection Process:

Online Screening Test (OST)
- 200 MCQs, 1 mark each, with 1/4 negative marking. Score card valid for life.
Interview – Conducted by respective school management.
Teaching Skill & Computer Proficiency Test – For shortlisted candidates.

PRT, TGT, PGT: 200 Questions | 200 Marks | 3 Hours | MCQ Type

- Pedagogy & Education Policy: 10% (20 Qs)
- Academic Proficiency: 85% (170 Qs, based on NCERT syllabus)
