The accused were identified as Ramesh Patel, Mahesh Patel, Arjun Patel, and Jignesh Patel, all residents of the same village. The police seized a significant amount of cash and gambling paraphernalia from the spot. In a separate operation, police raided a hotel in Surendranagar city and apprehended two more individuals for their involvement in gambling activities. The accused were identified as Hiren Shah and Rajesh Dave, both residents of Surendranagar. The police confiscated cash and gambling equipment during the raid. “We are committed to eradicating all forms of illegal activities, including gambling, from our city. These arrests are a testament to our unwavering resolve to maintain law and order in Surendranagar,” said Assistant Commissioner of Police, Surendranagar. All the arrested individuals have been charged under relevant sections of the Gujarat Gambling Act and have been remanded to police custody for further investigation. The police have appealed to the public to provide information about any illegal activities in their neighborhoods, assuring them of complete confidentiality. “We encourage citizens to come forward with any information about illegal activities. Together, we can make Surendranagar a safer place for everyone,” the ACP added.

સુરેન્દ્રનગર શહેરમાં પોલીસે મેળાના મેદાન પાસેથી બે શખ્સ ઝડપી લીધા હતા. આ શખ્સ જુગાર રમતા હતા તેમણે પોલીસને જોઈને જમીન પાથરેલી ચારપાઈ ઉથલાવી દીધી હતી. પરંતુ પોલીસ તેમને ઝડપવામાં સફળ રહી હતી. આ સિવાય, મફતીયાપરામાંથી ચાર શખ્સ ઝડપાયા હતા. આ લોકો પણ જુગાર રમતા હતા અને તેમની પાસેથી રોકડ સહિતનો ૨૭ હજારથી વધુનો મુદ્દામાલ જપ્ત કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
