Director Slams Actress Over Film Details
In a surprise move, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga hasushed actress Deepika Padukone after rumors surfaced that she opted out of his upcoming film "Spirit."
The "Sandeep" director raced to social media platforms like X, branding women unjustifiably for their decisions regarding their careers. He made it clear that he does not endorse her actions, suggesting that it may not align with the principles of his feminism. He firmly criticized what he sees as an attempt at dragging him down rather than a feminist stance, reminding her that "film is everything" to him as a career. However, he thinks it’s not appropriate for her to undermine his hard work.
In a tweet, Vanga called out the actress, saying, "Next time, tell the whole story… Because it doesn’t matter to me!" # dirtyPRgames hashtag was included, tagging his identity in the posts.
The press has been flooded with headlines about Deepika potentially leaving the film project due to "gender dynamics," but this claim is not backed up by any official发布. A similar rumor was shared that Deepika might have "opted out" of the lead role in the movie in 2022. However, Tripti Dimri, who was officially announced as the female lead just a couple of days before, seems to have entered the movie that movies.
Vanga had teased news about the top casting of the star-studded "Spirit" series with Prabhas. Tripti responded to the supposed rumour saying she was still processing this recognition and was sure to be a part of the rest of the story.
