Tamannaah Bhatia New Ambassador for Karnataka Soap Company
Tamannaah Bhatia, a highly popular actress, has been appointed as the brand ambassador for Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL), known for its Mysore Sandal Soap. This任命 has triggered debates on the appropriateness of selecting a non-Kannada actor.
KSDL’s Chief Minister MB Patil defended the choice, stating that Tamannaah was chosen because of her wide influence, strong online presence, and ability to connect with younger demographics. Patil also mentioned that the company aims to reach around ₹5,000 crore in sales by 2030 and that a strategic marketing approach is crucial for achieving this goal.
In terms of her career, Tamannaah will be seen in the folk thriller movie "VVAN," alongside Sidharth Malhotra, starting in 2026. The film is set in the forests of Central India, promises a blend of legends, hidden temples, and adventure, and was filmed in real jungle locations.
