Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Karan Johar Attend WAVES Summit 2025
Superstars from the Indian film industry, including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and filmmaker Karan Johar, attended the opening of WAVES Summit 2025. During the event, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone graced a session titled "Outsider Who Becomes Ruler," hosted by Karan Johar.
In the conversation, Shah Rukh Khan shared parenting tips with the attendees, emphasizing the importance of having children in one’s life. He stated that if you have kids, you’ll never feel lonely. Khan also revealed that he never scolds his kids and calls it instructions from their mom (his wife, Gauri Khan). He trained his son AbRam for his Sports Day and mentioned that his son Yash expects him to train him as well. When Karan requested Khan to help him in this situation, Khan replied, "Pehle tu sikh le. 100 m race mein kaise bhagte hai." Khan brought the house down with his imitation of Karan’s walk.
In another video, Shah Rukh Khan showcased his charm by taking a water bottle and reciting his poem from "Jab Tak Hai Jaan," proving that he can romance with a bottle.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is set to star in Siddharth Anand’s "King," which also features his daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. Deepika Padukone is likely to join the film as the female lead, but there’s no official announcement about this yet. "King" is scheduled to release in 2026.
