Silambarasan TR’s Next Film Confirmed with Santhanam’s Participation
After weeks of speculation, the makers of Tamil star Silambarasan TR’s upcoming film have officially announced that actor Santhanam has joined the cast. The film, tentatively titled "STR 49," is being produced by Dawn Pictures and directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan.
The new film marks a reunion between Simbu and Santhanam, who had previously collaborated in "Vaalu" (2015) and "Sakka Podu Podu Raja" (2016). Both actors have a cordial relationship, with Santhanam making his on-screen debut in Simbu’s "Manmadhan" and the former’s "Sakka Podu Podu Raja" featuring music composed by Silambarasan.
"STR 49" is composed by Sai Abhyankkar and stars Kayadu Lohar, known for her role in "Dragon." Details about the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Silambarasan’s 51st film is with "Dragon" maker Ashwath, while Simbu is set to team up with Desingh Periyasamy for his 50th film, tentatively titled "STR 50."
