Badshah’s New Song ‘Velvet Flow’ Allegedly Offends Christian Community
A complaint has been filed against rapper Badshah, who used the words ‘church’ and ‘bible’ in his new song ‘Velvet Flow,’ allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of the Christian community. The case was registered in Batala, Punjab, following a complaint filed by Emanuel Masih, representing the Global Christian Action Committee.
The complainant alleged that Badshah’s use of the words ‘church’ and ‘bible’ in the song was objectionable. Station House Officer Gurvinder Singh registered the FIR against Badshah at Qila Lal Singh police station under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for hurting the religious sentiments of the Christian community.
A protest was also held in Batala, Gurdaspur district, against Badshah over the song. The complainant, Emanuel Masih, represented the Global Christian Action Committee, and the case was registered in Batala following a complaint filed by Emanuel Masih, who represented the Global Christian Action Committee.
