Blake Lively Demands Financial Records Amid Justin Baldoni Lawsuit
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are once again sparring, this time over financial records. After Taylor Swift was subpoenaed for her involvement in "It Ends With Us," Lively has asked for the financial statements of Baldoni, who sued her for $400 million.
According to TMZ, Lively’s attorneys are suing Baldoni, Wayfayer Studios, and others, demanding financial statements. They argue that to sue for $400 million, they need to prove the reason behind the hefty cost.
The legal team sent a letter to the judge on Friday, requesting the individuals involved to provide the records. However, Baldoni’s team stated they would only give "non-privileged documents concerning their damages," not the ones Lively requested.
This latest development comes after Taylor Swift was dragged through the mud for signing her song for the film. After her legal team sent a subpoena to Swift, her rep gave a statement, saying Swift was not involved in any casting or creative decisions and was not present on the set.
Swift’s involvement in the film was limited to licensing one song, "My Tears Ricochet," and was not involved in casting Isabella Ferrer as the young Lily Bloom. Lively called Swift her "dragon," who would protect her with her power, while Baldoni felt he was being "butchered" by Ryan Reynolds, the two best friends during the film’s production.
The case has reignited tensions between the two actors, with Lively demanding financial records from Baldoni to prove the reason behind the $400 million lawsuit.
