Forbes Unveils 30 Under 30 Asia List: Bachelor of Animations Ananya Panday and Master of Media Ishaan Khatter Honored
Forbes has announced the 10th edition of its 30 Under 30 Asia list, recognizing 30 young individuals who are making significant contributions across various fields, including entertainment, arts, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Among the notable names from Bollywood this year are Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter. Ananya, who began her career with "Student of the Year 2," has carved a niche for herself since making her debut in 2019. Over the years, she has taken on diverse roles and expanded her presence both on-screen and in the fashion world.
Ananya recently appeared in "Kesari Chapter 2," where she portrayed a grounded and intense character alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan. This film addresses the political aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, offering a more grounded and intense character to her.
Off-screen, Ananya is recognized for her influence beyond cinema. She became the first Indian ambassador for Chanel, which underlines her growing influence in the fashion industry. Ananya also has a social initiative called So Positive, which focuses on addressing cyberbullying. This initiative further bolstered her image as a youth icon.
Ishaan Khatter, who started his career with "Beyond the Clouds," gained commercial recognition with "Dhadak." He is set to make his Cannes Film Festival debut with "Homebound," screening in a special segment at the festival. Additionally, Ishaan appeared in the Netflix series The Royals and made his international debut along with Nicole Kidman in The Perfect Couple, enhancing his reach in the global entertainment space.
Both actors represent a new generation of Indian talent, blending commercial success with artistic exploration. Their inclusion in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025 list not only acknowledges their past achievements but also highlights their potential as evolving voices in South Asian entertainment.
