GSL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Overview

Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), under the Ministry of Defence, is inviting applications for Apprentice Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2019. This recruitment targets fresh pass-out candidates with degrees in Graduate Engineering, Diploma in Engineering, and General stream graduates. The training is twelve months long, with a stipend of ₹8,000 to ₹9,900 per month.

GSL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Vacancies & Qualification

Graduate Engineering Apprentices (BE/ B. Tech – 1 Year Training)

• Mechanical Engineering: 6 seats, ₹9,000 per month stipend
• Electrical / Electrical & Electronics: 4 seats, ₹9,000 per month stipend
• Electronics / Electronics & Telecomm: 2 seats, ₹9,000 per month stipend
• IT / Computer Engineering: 2 seats, ₹9,000 per month stipend
• Civil Engineering: 1 seat, ₹9,000 per month stipend
  Total: 15 seats

Diploma (Technician) Apprentices – 1 Year Training

• Mechanical Engineering: 3 seats, ₹8,000 per month stipend
• IT / Computer Engineering: 2 seats, ₹8,000 per month stipend
  Total: 5 seats

Graduate (General Stream) Apprentices – 2 Year Training:

• All mentioned streams: 10 seats for the first year, ₹9,000 per month, 9,900 per month in second year.

Age Limit
There is no specific age limit, but candidate applications are encouraged between 2023, 2024, or 2025. Final results awaiting candidates can also apply.

Selection Process

• For Graduate Apprentices: Written Test + Interview
• For Technician Apprentices: Written Test + Practical Test
  Only candidates合格in the written test are invited for the subsequent stages.
