Entertainment News: A Vibrant New Soundtrack from Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro In Dino’
In a fittingly cloudy Mumbai evening, ‘Zamaana Lage,’ the first song from Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro In Dino’, was launched. Pritam composed the track, telling a ‘modern ghazal’ story through Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh’s vocal talents, with lyrics penned by Qaisar Ul Jafri and additional verses by Sandeep Shrivastava.
“Metamorphosis,” as it’s titled in the featured feature film, revolves around a new beginning of love and romance amid monsoons. Admitting to reflecting on the couples in the film, ‘Metro In Dino,’ the movie stars Metromovies army, which includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher and Saswata Chatterjee.
The campaign has ten songs, according to Pritam, who states that there’s a lot more to reveal. ‘Metro In Dino’ will see these first songs aired on train and radio stations across the nation prior to its official launch.
