The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, in collaboration with NTT DATA and CARPL.ai, has launched an AI-powered radiology service aimed at advancing cancer research.
The new service, supported by a three-year grant from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), aims to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes through the artificial intelligence in medical imaging. The service, running on an MLOps clinical imaging system, focuses on cancers such as sarcoma, lung, breast, brain, and prostate, aiming to enhance overall cancer evaluation and treatment targeting.
NTT DATA offers consulting services to support testing and real-life clinical validation of AI tools, with the Royal Marsden depolining it to assess various AI models across different cancer types.
