Will Smith resolved a feud between the production and laborers during a music video shoot. According to The Wrap, the union laborers (IATSE) picketed the set against Breathe Entertainment. They threatened to form a picket line, and the producers dismissed 35 on-ground laborers over health and pension benefit issues. In the end, the producers made a deal to include the necessary benefits for the shoot, and the 35-person union crew returned to work the same day.
Will Smith is collaborating with his son Jaden Smith, Big Sean, Russ, and Joyner Lucas on his album ‘Based on a True Story,’ released on March 28, 2025. The shoot took place at Quixote Studios in West Hollywood.
