Dr. Avinaash V Rai, a passionate artist, entrepreneur, and humanitarian from Mangalore, blends creativity, business, and service to inspire change and uplift lives across India.
Dr. Avinaash grew up in a middle-class family, influenced by his disciplined father and storytelling mother. He pursued education in law but found his heart in theater, where he showcased profound social commentary with plays like “The Book of Passing Shadows,” “Sakharam Binder,” and “Ashwamedh.”
In 2016, he ventured into Bollywood as a producer for “Do Lafzon Ki Kahani,” starring Randeep Hooda and Kajal Aggarwal. The film allowed him to experiment with a larger screen, much like theater.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Rai found himself creatively disconnected but channels his creativity by helping others through R.K. HIV AIDS Research & Care Center, arranging medical camps, medical supplies, and healthcare for poor communities.
After a successful film, “Venkya,” directed by Sagar, Dr. Rai returned to his craft with a passion born of his life’s journey. He now focuses on bold and meaningful stories with director Sagar and supports community kitchens with his family’s Mumbai restaurant business.
His commitment extends beyond the screen; beyond the economy. Dr. Rai has organized over 29,500 free medical camps and reached more than 3.65 crore people, showcasing that true success lies in his relentless service to help others.
With heart, courage, and kindness, Dr. Avinaash V Rai inspires countless people to become both creators and changemakers.
