Key discussions focused on improving cost-efficiency, legal compliance, and service delivery through better procurement systems. HOD of hospital administration and event organizer, Prof R Harshvardhan, presented case studies highlighting systemic issues such as delayed oxygen supplies during the second wave of COVID-19 and recurring medication shortages, stressing the need for robust and timely procurement methods.

The event was attended by industry professionals and healthcare experts, who discussed best practices and strategies to enhance procurement efficiency in government health systems. The seminar aimed to provide insights and solutions to improve the procurement processes in government health organizations, ensuring better access to medical supplies and services for patients.
