Tamil actor Ravi Mohan sparked dating rumors on Friday after making a public appearance with his rumoured girlfriend, singer Keneesha Francis, at a wedding in Chennai. While pictures of the two flooded social media, Ravi’s estranged wife Aarti Ravi penned an emotional note, stating that Ravi has walked away from the responsibilities he once promised to honor, and that his abandonment has hurt their two sons.
Aarti took to her Instagram account to express her pain and frustration. She wrote, "For a year, I have carried silence like armour. Not because I was weak, but because my sons needed peace more than I needed to be heard. I absorbed every accusation, every allegation, every cruel whisper thrown my way. I said nothing — not because I didn’t have the truth, but because I didn’t want my children to carry the burden of choosing between parents. Today, while the world sees carefully curated appearances and photo captions, our reality is very different. My divorce is still ongoing. But the man I once stood beside for 18 years-in love, loyalty, and belief-has not just walked away from me, but from the very responsibilities he once promised to honor."
Aarti alleged that she and her sons are facing eviction from their house on Ravi’s instructions. "I am accused of being a gold digger. If that were ever true, I would’ve protected my personal interests long ago. But I chose love over calculation. Trust over transaction. And this is where it has brought me. I do not regret love. But I will not stand by as that love is rewritten as weakness," added Aarti.
Calling out Ravi for hurting their children, aged 10 and 14, Aarti said that while the boys might be too young to understand the legal nuances of the issue, they are "old enough to feel abandonment." "Every unanswered call, every cancelled meeting, every cold message meant for me but read by them-these are not just oversights. They are wounds. I speak today not as a wife. It is a responsibility," wrote Aarti, requesting the media to refrain from calling her as Ravi’s ex-wife and that she will carry his name until the divorce is granted by the court of law.
Meanwhile, Keneesha shared a story on her Instagram account that many believe is her reaction to the developments. The singer reshared a quote that read, "A masculine man will never be attracted to a chaotic emotional energy. His heart leans toward the woman who feels like peace. Ravi announced his separation from Aarti on September 9. Married in June 2009, the two are parents to sons Aarav and Ayaan. Aarti is the daughter of noted television producer Sujatha Vijayakumar, who has also bankrolled Ravi-starrers like "Bhoomi" and "Siren."
Even since before Ravi’s announcement of his separation from Aarti, speculations have been rife that the star has been dating singer and spiritual healer Keneesha Francis. Netizens even accused Keneesha as the reason for the marriage turning sour.
