Blackpink’s Rosé to Feature in F1 Movie Soundtrack
Blackpink’s Rosé is set to contribute to the original soundtrack of the upcoming Hollywood film "F1," marking her first movie soundtrack. The album, titled "F1: The Album," is an exciting mix of established and new talent, featuring renowned artists like Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Don Toliver, Tate McRae, Raye, and many more, in addition to Rosé herself.
The album will be released on June 27th, coinciding with the film’s release. The Miami Grand Prix is hosting an exclusive and immersive activation to commemorate the soundtrack’s release, bringing the movie’s fictitious racing team to life with a reproduction of their garage.
The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski, stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a former Formula One (F1) racer who calls it quits after a tragic accident. Years later, he’s pulled back into the racing world when a Formula One team owner asks him to coach rookie driver Joshua Pearce and revive the struggling Apex Grand Prix team’s shot at a championship title.
