Rajalakshmi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute Launches AI-Enabled MRI Machine
Rajalakshmi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute in Kilpauk recently inaugurated a new AI-enabled MRI machine, marking a significant step in advancing precision diagnostics and radiology research.
The newly installed machine, located within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, will leverage artificial intelligence to provide advanced precision diagnostics and support interdisciplinary research involving medicine and engineering.
Haree Shankar Meganathan, Vice-Chairman of Rajalakshmi Institutions, emphasized, "With RADAR, we are not just building a diagnostics facility; we are creating a collaborative lab where the best of medicine and technology can meet."
N.R. Mani, Vice-President and Head of Human Resources at Carborundum Universal Ltd., Murugappa Group, attended the inauguration. Faculty members, clinicians, technologists, and students also participated in the event.
This initiative is part of Rajalakshmi Health City’s broader efforts to integrate education, research, and clinical services into a unified platform, aimed at advancing both national and global healthcare.
