Mystery Surrounds Death of Advocate H Jagadish on NICE Road in Bengaluru
BENGALURU: The tragic death of 46-year-old advocate H Jagadish has plunged Bengaluru’s NICE Road into mystery after his body was discovered near Kengeri Friday night. Authorities suspect foul play following a suspected vehicular accident.
Jagadish, a resident of SMV Layout, Kengeri, hailed from Malavalli in Mandya. His cousin, Dr. Prabhanjan, filed a formal complaint alleging murder, citing suspicious injuries and missing belongings.
Police received alerts about a body near Raman Estate junction on NICE Road. Upon arrival, officers found Jagadish’s corpse approximately 200 meters from his locked car, which had its engine running, parking lights on, and visible dents on both sides.
Dr. Prabhanjan highlighted severe injuries on Jagadish’s left leg, stomach, and a critical head wound. “The back of his head was open, with brain matter spilled out. Miscreants likely forced him out post-accident and stole his phone,” he stated.
Poll: What should the focus of the investigation be?
Investigations reveal Jagadish was returning from a visit to a client incarcerated at Bengaluru Central Prison. An officer noted, “The dents confirm an accident occurred, but the autopsy will clarify the exact cause of death.”
ACP (West) Vikash Kumar Vikash confirmed three investigative teams are examining all leads. “We’re analyzing every angle but cannot speculate on the incident’s nature at this stage,” he added.
