A Woman Gave Birth Amidst Massive Myanmar Earthquake in Bangkok

In the wake of a devastating earthquake in Myanmar, a pregnant woman gave birth to a child on a street in Bangkok. The tremors forced the evacuation of patients from hospitals, including the BNH Hospital and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, to a nearby park. Amidst the chaos, hospital staff provided care to patients outside the buildings. The video of the birth was widely shared on social media platforms.

The earthquake, measuring 7.7 magnitude, struck Myanmar and parts of Bangkok on Friday. According to reports, the death toll from the earthquake in Myanmar has climbed to 1,644, with 3,408 individuals reported injured. The military junta’s information team confirmed that at least 139 people remain unaccounted for following the quake.

The tremors were felt as far as Bangkok, and the earthquake also took down several buildings, bridges, and a monastery. The 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck near Mandalay, Myanmar’s second-largest city, with aftershocks measuring as strong as 6.4 magnitude.

This tragic event highlights the devastating impact of natural disasters and the resilience of those affected. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
