Lytus Technologies Acquires Blodin for ₹1,000 Crore
New Delhi: Multinational tech-services provider Lytus Technologies has completed the acquisition of AI-driven blood component management and logistics platform, Blodin. The deal is financed through the ₹1,000 crore corpus set aside to expand its digital ecosystem and scale operations through both organic and inorganic growth over the next three years.
The acquisition has been executed through Lytus Technologies’ wholly owned health subsidiary, Lytus HealthTech. Commenting on the announcement, Dharmesh Pandya, CEO of Lytus Technologies, said, "Healthcare presents a powerful intersection of business growth and societal impact, and our strong revenue trajectory reflects our ability to execute on vision and capitalize on emerging market opportunities."
The acquired platform connects hospitals with blood banks and supports the management of the blood logistics chain through advanced features like optimized inventory forecasting, real-time supply-demand mapping, and last-mile routing for temperature-sensitive deliveries. It currently serves 140 hospitals in Chennai, with plans to add 100 more hospitals and approximately 15 blood banks. Expansion is also planned across cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
Lytus further aims to scale the solution internationally, targeting markets such as the US and UAE. As part of the integration, the platform’s team is working on implementing Agentic AI—autonomous digital agents capable of decision-making and acting without human intervention. Following a successful pilot, this innovation is set to launch through its flagship offering, Blod+.
