Title: BJP Leader Nadda Promises to Uphold Bengali Pride

In a recent statement, BJP leader Nadda emphasized the party’s commitment to upholding Bengali pride and exposing those who seek to demean it. Despite the challenges posed by the second wave of COVID-19, Nadda remains confident that the party will continue its fight to achieve power and conduct a victory rally at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata.

The state of West Bengal witnessed an eight-phase Assembly election last year, with the BJP failing to defeat the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and securing only 77 seats. The TMC, led by Mamata Banerjee, won 213 seats, marking its third consecutive victory.

Since the election, the BJP’s state unit has been plagued by internal strife and defections. Former union minister Babul Supriyo, party MP Arjun Singh, and five legislators, including the national vice president Mukul Roy, have switched to the TMC.

Nadda emphasized the importance of maintaining and upholding Bengali pride, stating that it is not just a matter of literature but also in our activities, sermons, and actions. He highlighted the need to fight for poor people’s rights and free the state from the syndicate and tolabaj regime.

Nadda also mentioned the BJP’s efforts to bring about a change in the political spectrum of neighboring Bihar, where former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav went to jail. He predicted that a similar situation could occur in West Bengal in the future.

As Nadda concluded his speech, a guest requested him to speak to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and ensure punishment to those involved in crimes being investigated by the CBI. The TMC responded by questioning Nadda’s statements, suggesting that the CBI and the BJP might be working together.

The BJP’s commitment to upholding Bengali pride and fighting for the rights of the poor is clear, but the party’s internal issues and the challenges posed by the second wave of COVID-19 will undoubtedly play a significant role in the upcoming election.
